Territory Account Manager

The Territory Account Manager is responsible for managing direct and distribution accounts.  This position develops new business opportunities thru direct sales or thru supporting distributions sales.  Professional sales skills and the ability to sell in a techanical environment is needed. This position also requires a positive, professional image and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops sales leads thru cold calling networking
  • Develops sales and marketing presentations
  • Develops marketing plans
  • Provides sales training to distributors
  • Managers customer relationships
  • Assists in proposal preparation and presentation
  • Gathers competitive intelligence
  • Assists with collection activities
  • Assists with forecasting activities
  • Provides reports as needed
  • Assits with engineering and distribution activities as needed

Education & Experience

  • BS Business Adminstration, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years sales/account management experience
  • Proven success selling in a technical enviroment
