Founded in 1929, Micromatic is a world class manufacturer of rotary actuators and automated assembly equipment. ISO certified, we are considered a leader in custom engineered industrial products and equipment. The major markets we serve are industrial, automotive, material handling, utility, and heavy duty off road. However, we can custom design and integrate any product or system to meet your requirements, regardless of the application. Micromatic's two major product lines :

• Rotary Actuators: Micromatic manufactures a special line of engineered rotary vane-type hydraulic actuators that offer very high torque in a small package and profit from Micromatic’s core skills in manufacturing precision components. Rotac® and Hyd-ro-ac™ actuators are used in a broad range of industrial applications throughout the world, from transportation, freight handling and automation to food processing and medical equipment.
  
• Micro-Precision: Turnkey System Integration of automated assembly equipment. This includes development of High Speed Automatic and lower volume semi-automatic assembly machines for combustion component assemblies such as piston, connecting rods, wrist pins, piston "C" clips, piston rings and rod bearings. Also included are gantry systems, part handling automation, and part inspection using vision, laser, mechanical contact, and electronic transducers.

Berne is located approximately 40 minutes south of Fort Wayne on US Hwy 27. With over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing facilities on 10 acres, Micromatic offers complete engineering and production services to customers throughout North America, Europe and Asia .
