Business Development Manager - Actuator Sales

This position is responsible for managing direct and distribution actuator accounts. Developing new business opportunities thru direct sales or thru supporting distribution sales. Requires working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Requires positive, professional image and the ability to travel up to 50%. Essential Job Functions •Develops sales leads thru cold calling and networking •Develops sales and marketing presentations •Develops marketing plans •Provides sales training to distributors •Manages customer relationships •Assists in proposal preparation •Presents and closes proposals •Gathers competitive intelligence •Assists with collection activities •Assists with forecasting activities Education / Experience •BSME or equivalent •Minimum 5 years sales experience with hydraulic products Mandatory Qualification Requirements •Strong Inter-Personal Skills •Strong oral and written communication skills •Proficient with Microsoft Products •Blueprint Reading & Interpretation •Strong organizational, team building, time management skills •Training in cost estimating, expediting and prioritizing •Strong mechanical aptitude •Strong negotiating skills
